Motown Records Women's T-Shirt
A women's fitted t-shirt with the logo of the legendary soul record label, Motown. Tamla Motown Records was formed in 1959 by a Mr. Berry Gord Jnr, using an $800 loan, to realize his dream of ‘making the voice of the ghetto heard’. The name derives from a combination of the Debbie Reynolds film ‘Tammy’ with the abridged nickname of its’ home city Detroit (Motor Town). Its’ early intentions & roots in the ghetto were eventually eclipsed by its’ enormous impact on the mainstream, flinging up a relative army of stars. Producers such as Marvin Gaye, writers such as Kenneth Gamble & Leon Huff, divas such as Diana Ross & Aretha Franklin, & child-prodigy-singer/songwriter/composers such as Stevie Wonder all contributed to its’ establishment throughout the 1960s in the US & beyond. It remains to this day as influential & timeless as it ever was.

Returns
Our no hassle returns policy is valid for 28 days from receipt of an item
(40 days for international orders).
We accept returns if you want to change it for a different size or colour, you are not happy with the item or you have just changed your mind.
